Cookies
(1) When using our website, cookies are stored on your computer, smartphone or tablet. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disk by the browser you use and through which the person or entity that sets the cookie obtains certain information. Cookies cannot run programmes or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to enable the use of certain functions of our website, to conduct market research and to make the website more user-friendly, effective and attractive.
(2) We use so-called transient and persistent cookies for our website. Their scope and function are explained below:

Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. This includes in particular session cookies. These cookies store a so-called session ID, with which different requests of your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your browser to be recognised when you visit different subpages of our website, for example. This is necessary, for instance, to enable online orders. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.

Persistent cookies remain on your device, allowing your browser to be recognised when you return to our site after a previous visit. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie.

(3) You can find the storage duration of the individual cookies in the overview in the security settings of your browser. You can also set your browser there so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide in detail whether you want to accept a cookie or not. In addition, you can generally exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases. In the security settings of your browser, you can also delete the cookies at any time. However, this may result in not being able to use all the functions of our website. (4) Hereafter we provide you with links for typical browsers, where you can find further information on the administration of cookie settings:
(5) Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR or the safeguarding of our legitimate interest in the best possible functionality and stability as well as the user-friendly design of our website and the optimised presentation of our services within the scope of a weighing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR constitute the legal basis for the processing.

Orders in the online shop
(1) We process your personal data, if you disclose it to us in the context of your order in our online shop. Personal data is processed for the purpose of processing your order. The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor by contract, but is necessary for concluding a contract with us. Lack thereof will therefore prevent you from concluding a contract with us.
(2) After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be restricted for further processing and erased after the statutory retention periods have expired, unless you have expressly agreed that we may continue to use your data. Further use of your data by us is also possible if this is permitted by law. We will inform you about this in this data protection declaration where appropriate.
(3) You may voluntarily create a customer account through which we will process your data for subsequent purchases. The personal data is then processed for the purpose of enhancing the shopping experience in our online shop and to simplify the ordering process for future orders in our online shop. Otherwise you would have to enter your order data again when ordering. You can delete your account at any time by sending a message to us using the contact details below.
(4) In order to process your order, we pass on the data collected during the ordering process to our specialist trade partner Kaniedenta:

Kaniedenta GmbH & Co. KG Dentalmedizinische Produkte
Zum Haberland 36
D-32051 Herford
Germany

Furthermore, we pass on your data to the shipping service provider commissioned with the delivery insofar as this is necessary for the shipping of goods ordered by you.

(5) Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR constitutes the legal basis for the processing of personal data mentioned above.

Newsletter
(1) If we have asked for your consent and you have given it, we will process your email address in order to conduct email marketing and, if necessary, other personal data in order to address you personally in the process. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
(2) Contents of the e-mail marketing are specifically described when obtaining your consent. For the rest, the email marketing contains information about us, our goods and services.
(3) Since our offer is aimed exclusively at entrepreneurs, we also process your information as part of the newsletter registration to verify your entrepreneurial status. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is to ensure that our newsletter is only directed at entrepreneurs and not at consumers.
(4) We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to prevent possible misuse of your personal data. For this purpose, after collecting your e-mail address, we send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you actually wish to receive e-mail marketing. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the legally compliant implementation of email marketing.
(5) We log the time of granting your consent and the time of your confirmation as well as your IP address and the content of your declaration of consent in order to be able to prove that your consent was obtained in compliance with the law. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the legally compliant implementation of email marketing.
(6) You can revoke your consent at any time. The revocation of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. To revoke your consent, you can use the link provided for this purpose in the emails or contact us at the contact details provided above.
(7) If you have revoked your consent, we reserve the right to process your personal data in a so-called blacklist/blocklist in order to be able to ensure in the future that no further e-mail marketing takes place in connection with this personal data. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the avoidance of unwanted email marketing.
(8) We process your personal data in the context of tracking or success measurements in order to measure the reach of our email marketing, to design this in line with demand and based on interests and thus to optimize our email marketing. This may also involve profiling (for purposes of advertising, personalized information, etc.). Profiling may also take place across services and devices. If we have asked you for your consent and you have given it, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. If we have not asked you for your consent, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest here is the optimization of our email marketing. A separate revocation of your consent or objection with regard to tracking or success measurements is unfortunately not possible. You must use the above options to revoke your consent or object to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of email marketing altogether.

Comments and reviews
(1) If you have given us your express permission to do so, we will use your e-mail address to remind you to comment on or review the products you have purchased.
(2) You can withdraw your consent at any time. After you have expressed the withdrawal of consent to us, this influences the legitimacy of the processing of your personal data. You can explain the withdrawal to us using the contact data provided below.

Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files saved to your computer to allow an analysis of your use of the website. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to put together reports on website activities and in order to provide us with other services related to website use and Internet use. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our website and our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user.
(2) The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there. Anonymisation of IP addresses is activated on this website, so that your IP address is shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only communicated in full to a Google server in the US in exceptional cases and truncated there. For the exceptional cases where personal data is transferred to the US, Google has adopted the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. A current certificate can be viewed using this link: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list.
(3) This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. This means that IP addresses are processed in truncated form and cannot be traced to a specific user. If the data collected about you is related to you, this relationship is excluded immediately and the personal data will be promptly erased.
(4) The IP address transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data by Google.
(5) This website also uses Google Analytics for a cross-device analysis of visitor flows conducted via a user ID (Google Universal Analytics).
(6) You can prevent the storage of Google Analytics cookies by adjusting the corresponding settings in your browser software; we should point out, however, that in doing so you may be unable to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent any data generated by the cookies or data relating to your use of this website (including your IP address) from being transferred to Google or being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB. As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can use this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data from this website in the future. An opt-out cookie is stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.
(7) Pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, the legal basis of this is the safeguarding of our legitimate interest in an optimised presentation and marketing of our website within the scope of a weighing of interests.
(8) The processed data will be erased automatically after 14 months.
(9) For the evaluation of the collected data we use a service provider within the scope of order processing.

Google Ads Conversion

(1) We use Google Ads to draw attention to our offers on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Ads). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
(2) The legal basis for the processing is, pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO, the protection of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offer, which outweighs our interest in the context of a balancing of interests.
(3) Google Ads Conversion is a service provided by Google. If you have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, this service is provided to you by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. If you do not have your habitual residence in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, this service is provided to you by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
(4) These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, which can be used to measure certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of the ads or clicks by users. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie in your end device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last impression (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie. These cookies enable Google to recognise your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Ads customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer will be able to recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. A different cookie is assigned to each Ads customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked across Ads customers' websites. We ourselves do not process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. These evaluations enable us to recognise which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify the users on the basis of this information.
(5) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of Ads Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will obtain and store your IP address. Google also maintains servers in the USA. For cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. You can view a current certificate at this link: https://www.privacyshield.gov/list.
(6) You can prevent participation in this tracking procedure in various ways:

  • by adjusting your browser software accordingly; in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving ads from third-party providers
  • by disabling conversion tracking cookies by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", https://www.google.com/settings/ads, which setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies;
  • by disabling interest-based ads from the providers that are part of the self-regulatory campaign "About Ads", via the link https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies;
  • by permanently deactivating them in your browsers at the link https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent.

(7) For further information on the purpose and scope of data processing by Google, please refer to the Google data protection declarations provided below. There you will also receive further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy.

In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used in Google Ads Remarketing. Google also maintains servers in the USA. In cases where personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. (1) We use Google DoubleClick. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests.
